Today was my first day volunteering at the Cardo’s Farm Project in Ponder, and it was so great! The gears are rolling in my head about future workshops and collaborations
Ideas:
- make a list of potential natural dye plants for the children and education garden bed
- Spinning workshop with Lindsay Norwick/ ask UNT for drop spindles/buy a tiny cotton gin/
- Teach a natrual dying workshop with a pot luck/ ask around for interested studio assistants
- shibori and natural dying workshop
- naturalist illustration/ watercolor open studio
- natural and found materials loom and weaving workshop
- make a list of Oil and Cotton teachers who would be relevant and interested in teaching a workshop/ painting nature class/ basketry class/ cyanotype class
