OLGA DE AMARAL

Olga De Amaral was one of the pioneering artists who took Textile art from being a 2D practice into a 3 dimensional concept, which frequently took the form of abstract work. She is known for her weaving and tapestries that “turn textiles into golden surfaces of light.”

Her work really reminds me of this piece of work by Corrine Felgate… I wonder if Corrine is familiar with De Amaral’s work?
